The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative support for College affairs and programmes; (b) processing student applications for admissions, College sponsorship, financial aid and exchange programmes; (c) providing logistical support for College events, hostel affairs and student activities; (d) managing student databases; (e) handling daily office operations and enquiries; and (f) performing other tasks as assigned. Occasional travel and irregular working hours (including evenings, weekends and public holidays) may be required occasionally.
Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education or above; (ii) Grade E / Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, "Attained" or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (iii) fast and accurate typing; (iv) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese); (v) good IT skills in MS Office and Windows applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint); (vi) good communication skills and telephone manners; (vii) a meticulous attitude and attentiveness to details; (viii) the ability to work independently in a team-based environment; and (ix) at least 2 years' administrative work experience.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for written and/or typing and computer skill tests.
Appointment will be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
