Full-time Associate Professor (1 Vacancy)
MPI is a public institution of higher learning funded by the Macao SAR Government. It features a strong faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and excellence in teaching and research. According to the approval by the Administrative Board, and the Teaching Staff Charter of the Macao Polytechnic Insitute, applications are invited through open recruitment for one full-time Associate Professor.

Job Duties :
Applicants shall perform the duties as stipulated in Article 5 and Clause No. 2 of Article No. 6 in the "MPI Teaching Staff Charter" and be able to teach orchestral conducting, music performance and music theory related subjects.
Applicants must possess a Doctoral Degree in related field of String instrument, Wind instrument, Orchestral Conducting, with a least 4 years' teaching experience at the tertiary education level.

Salary and Fringe Benefits :
The salary index of Associate Professor ranges from 540 and 760 (1 index point = MOP91), with annual salary from MOP 687,960 and MOP 968,240 (US$1 approx. = MOP8). The salary scale will be determinded in accordance with the appointee's academic qualifications, tertiary teaching experience and/or relevant professional experience. The appointee will be entitled to the welfare and benefits, including provident fund, medical benefits, housing allowance, and family subsidies, as stipulated in the MPI Personnel Charter. The current local income tax rate ranges from 7% to 12%.
