The Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) programme aims to provide students with a solid grounding in state-of-the-art research, theories and practice in TESOL, with a view to meeting the professional development needs of English language teachers and other TESOL professionals in a range of educational contexts in Asia and beyond.Specifically, the programme equips students with knowledge of key concepts and principles in TESOL research and practice, develops their ability to reflect on the theory-practice nexus, enables them to analyse, explore and critique salient issues in TESOL through independent inquiry, and empowers them to take charge of their continuing professional development in TESOL.--------
