Department of Geography
Ref : 201701302 (to commence in October, 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree in Geography, a Master's degree in Geography or other related disciplines, and a good command of written and spoken English as well as communication skills. Those with experience in teaching support in tertiary institutions are preferred. The appointee will assist teachers in evaluating coursework assignments; conducting tutorials; coordinating field visits and class activities; invigilation; compiling reading lists and documentary sources; managing class lists and course schedules / timetables; providing tutorial and academic support to students outside class; uploading and managing the web-based elements of courses; and performing any additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
